Our Story
Lakeview Cabins began with a simple dream and passion for the outdoors. In 1984, Jim Corbett, with the help of a few friends, built what is now known as the black duck cabin. Originally designed as a hunting cabin, it quickly became a special place to gather, relax, and enjoy the beauty of Washademoak Lake. After thoughtful renovations in 1995, the cabin welcomed it's very first guests, marking the beginning of Lakeview Cabins.
Whether you're planning a family vacation, a fishing trip, a romantic getaway, or simply looking for a quiet place to recharge, Lakeview Cabins provides a comfortable home away from home. Each cabin is thoughtfully equipped with the comforts you need while allowing you to experience the tranquility of lakeside living.
We take pride in offering a welcoming atmosphere where guests can relax, make lasting memories, and enjoy time together. From watching the sunrise over the lake with a morning coffee to spending evenings around the fire under the stars, every stay is an opportunity to reconnect with nature and the people who matter most.
We look forward to welcoming you to Lakeview Cabins and helping make your next getaway one to remember.
